ALEXANDER SHEVCHENKO VS FLAVIO COBOLLI PREDICTION
22-year-old Flavio Cobolli came back from a set down to stun fourth seed ben Shelton on Tuesday, backing-up an excellent opener over Aslan Karatsev. The Italian will move back up to his career-high ATP world ranking of 56th but he should be targeting more here in Geneva after ousting two of the tougher players in a stacked draw.
World number 61 Alexander Shevchenko enjoyed a rest with a walkover to the quarter-finals at Emil Ruusuvuori’s expense but he earned his place with an upset over Fabian Marozsan on Monday. The 23-year-old also upset Marozsan at the Italian Open three weeks ago but it has been a frustrating clay swing for him overall, far from the heights that saw the Kazakh burst onto the scene in Madrid last spring. Back Cobolli to edge through their first encounter.
