THE PREDICTION

Tunisian veteran Malek Jaziri earned a wildcard to the Antalya Open here but the 36-year-old has been lumped with arguably the hardest draw in fourth-seed Alex de Minaur. An out of form Matteo Berrettini, David Goffin and Fabio Fognini are the players seeded above the young Australian and De Minaur looks to be the not-so dark horse for the title here. De Minaur continues to promise big things at such a young age, the 21-year-old is likely to reach 100 wins on tour before the summer, and he, notably, lost to the winners of four of the seven tournaments he played after the restart. Losing to Dominic Thiem at the US Open quarter-finals as well as Ugo Humbert, Daniil Medvedev and Jannik Sinner at the European Open, Paris Masters and Sofia Open respectively was no embarrassment for the lightning-quick Aussie and proves that he takes some beating. At this early stage it might be worth picking De Minaur to claim his fourth ATP title here as well as overcoming Jaziri in straight sets.
