27-year-old Salvatore Caruso will enjoy making the main draw here in Sofia and the Italian has been in some good personal form of late. Caruso just missed out on a Challenger title in Italy to Frances Tiafoe and has beaten the likes of Tennys Sandgren since the re-start of the season. He came close to progressing from the first round of both of his last two tournaments but it should be third time lucky against Bulgarian wildcard Dimitar Kuzmanov. Caruso should be beating Kuzmanov in fairly convincing straight sets here.
