Gilles Simon and Andrej Martin have been on the tour for years but this will be the first time they meet when they take to the court on Tuesday. 35-year-old Simon comes into Sofia off a tough loss in the first round of the Paris Masters to Tommy Paul but the veteran enjoyed a decent run in Cologne where he beat Marton Fucsovics, Jordan Thompson and Denis Shapovalov over a two-week spell. The world number 62 will fancy his chances at a rare straight-sets victory here after so many of his recent matches have gone the distance and looks good for it against the Slovakian.
