THE PREDICTION
Yoshihito Nishioka lost the first set pf his first round match with Pablo Andujar on Tuesday but the Japanese lefty grew into the match and frustrated the Spaniard into submission in the end. The unorthodox 25-year-old will be a test for anyone this week in Paris, not least Adrian Mannarino as the pair face off for the first time on Wednesday. 32-year-old Mannarino played well in a combative straight-sets defeat of world number 26 Dusan Lajovic, though the Serb has been in some poor form of late and was expected to lose that encounter. Without a supportive home crowd it seems like this will be a thankless task for Mannarino against the tireless defence of the Japanese speedster and Nishioka can wear down his opponent to reach the round of 16 here.
