THE PREDICTION
Milos Raonic looked untroubled in his straight-sets victory over Aljaz Bedene to reach the second round of the Paris Masters and the former finalist will be a tough nut to crack all week if his service numbers in that match are anything to go by. The world number 17 will face Pierre-Hugues Herbert in the second round after the Frenchman managed to beat Tennys Sandgren for the second time in as many weeks as the seasoned doubles player enjoys some singles form. However, if their last meeting is anything to go by this should be another straight-sets affair for the Canadian, just as it was on the hard courts of Melbourne at last year’s Australian Open. Raonic made 18 aces against Bedene on Tuesday and will be looking for a similar total here.
