Stuttgart Preview: Recent slip-ups

Stuttgart have failed to kick on since that massive 1-2 victory away at Borussia Dortmund, losing at home to Wolfsburg and most recently being held to a 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim. Despite those two results though, Stuttgart are still in with a chance of European football again next season with them currently being in seventh-place.

Bayern Munich Preview: Statement made

Bayern Munich could easily have dropped points at home to a team inside the Champions League places last weekend, with Eintracht Frankfurt being formidable opposition. Instead, Vincent Kompany’s men dismantled them, winning 4-0 in what was a performance worthy of the Meisterschale. That result kept the gap between Bayern and title rivals Bayer Leverkusen at eight points.

Stuttgart Team News: Injuries render three absent

Stuttgart will be without the presence of three players against the league leaders, one of those being winger Luca Raimund, who has a thigh problem. Also missing are El Bilal Toure and Dan-Axel Zagadou, who are nursing foot and knee injuries respectively.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Nubel; Stergiou, Jeltsch, Chabot, Mittelstadt; Karazor, Stiller; Leweling, Millot, Fuhrich; Undav

Unavailable: Raimund (Injured), Toure (Injured), Zagadou (Injured)

Questionable:

Bayern Munich Team News: Kane back in XI

Expect Harry Kane back in the Bayern Munich starting line-up for this match after he came off the bench against Eintracht Frankfurt despite being rendered doubtful to feature with a calf injury. Joshua Kimmich’s participation here though is questionable, which could lead to a Goretzka, Pavlovic midfield duo.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Neuer; Laimer, Upamecano, Kim, Guerreiro; Goretzka, Pavlovic; Olise, Musiala, Sane; Kane

Unavailable: Peretz (Injured)

Questionable: Kimmich (Injured)

Stuttgart vs Bayern Munich Prediction

The last time these two clubs met, Bayern Munich dispatched Stuttgart efficiently, beating them by four goals to nil. The same scoreline that we saw last Sunday when the ‘Rekordmeister’ outclassed Eintracht. However, this contest takes place at the MHP Arena and you would expect a closer encounter as a result. Bayern made a real statement with their last victory and will look to capitalise on Stuttgart’s recent struggles, whilst Vincent Kompany’s side have also enjoyed the full week to prepare for this game.

If Bayern show the same conviction that we saw from them vs Frankfurt then they’ll be in a great position to claim a victory here. But Stuttgart at home make for tough opposition and the sensible play would be to only back the current Bundesliga leaders via the safety of the draw no bet market.

Stuttgart vs Bayern Munich Tip: Bayern Munich draw no bet
