Strasbourg vs Rayo Vallecano prediction

This UEFA Conference League semi-final is finely poised with Rayo Vallecano having secured a narrow 1-0 win on home turf in the first leg, Alemao's fine header early in the second half all that separated the sides.

The onus is on Strasbourg to claw this one back, and the French outfit have certainly been a force in Europe this season, topping the standings in an unbeaten league phase campaign. Recent form is something of a concern though, given that they have lost four of their last five games across all competitions.

By contrast, Rayo are unbeaten in their last four, keeping clean sheets in their three victories during that stretch. They will very much prioritise defensive resolve here as they look to protect their slender advantage in the tie, and with Strasbourg not firing on all cylinders right now, we can this being a low-scoring second leg.

Strasbourg vs Rayo Vallecano tip: Under 2.5 goals
