Sparta Prague vs Riga prediction

Sparta Prague underwhelmed in the Czech top-flight last season, but they have been much-improved this season, at least especially in Europe. They came from behind to defeat Aktobe in the second qualifying round before a hammering of Ararat-Armenia in the third qualifying round.

Riga come into this one on the back of a 10-0 demolition of Riga Mariners in the quarter-finals of the Latvian Cup at the weekend. They did manage to edge past Beitar Jerusalem on the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League last week, winning 3-0 in the first-leg in Latvia, before a 3-1 defeat away from home.

Sparta Prague have struggled and lacked fluency away from home but, in the Czech capital, they will be expected to comfortably overcome Riga in this one.

Sparta Prague vs Riga tip: Sparta Prague to win -1 handicap
