Solomon Islands vs New Caledonia prediction
The Solomon Islands come into this one on the back of not playing since they were knocked out in the group stages of OFC qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, having lost 3-2 to New Caledonia in that match, albeit they did finish their campaign with a 2-1 victory over Papua New Guinea.
The New Caledonians managed to win that group and, after a defeat to New Zealand in the final, will be heading into the intercontinental playoffs as the Oceanian representative in March. They most recently eased to a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Gibraltar last month.
The Solomon Islands will again believe and hope they can get after the New Caledonians but New Caledonia remain the firm favourites for this one.
