Silkeborg vs KA prediction

Silkeborg, under the management of Kent Nielsen, finished seventh in the Danish Superliga last season but managed to qualify for the UEFA Europa Conference League as runners’ up in the Danish Cup. They recently reached the group stages of this competition in 2022/23, where they faced eventual winners West Ham United.

Knattspyrnufelag Akureyrar, or KA, or Akureyri, finished seventh in the 2024 Icelandic Besta deild Karla table last season, with Hallgrimur Jonasson at the helm. They, too, qualified for this competition by finishing as runners’ up in the Icelandic cup. So this may well be a major step up for them.

Neither of these sides were consistently overwhelmingly strong last season, so this is a step up for both, but Silkeborg are firm favourites for both legs of this tie.

Silkeborg vs KA tip: Silkeborg to win
