At the neutral venue of Stadion Beros in Stara Zagora, Sileks produced an upset to defeat Dinamo Minsk by a goal to nil in the first-leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round tie. A 42nd minute penalty scored by Bosnian forward Esmir Hasukic was enough to separate the two sides.
Sileks have not won a European tie since they defeated Vac FC Samsung, of Hungary, in the qualifying round of the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup back in 1995. Dinamo Minsk reached the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League in the 2024-25 season but haven’t won a European tie since then and so siding with Sileks in another likely low-scoring encounter seems the best bet for this one.
