Sebastian Ofner vs Damir Dzumhur prediction
Sebastian Ofner enjoyed a fine Wimbledon as he made the third-round for the first time since 2017. This included a fabulous four set victory over Tommy Paul in round two before a defeat to Grigor Dimitrov. The Austrian now returns to competing on clay and did make the semi-finals of Geneva on the surface in May, which stands as his best result of his comeback season so far.
Damir Dzumhur is also comfortable on the clay, having made the semi-finals of the Bucharest Open in April and the Zadar Open on the Challenger Tour in late March. His last match on clay before this event was a commendable performance in the third-round of the French Open against eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz, which saw him take a set off the Spaniard and produce some incredible shots during the match.
Ofner will be full of confidence after his run at SW19, but he runs into a Bosnian opponent that does seem to improve his level on clay. We can’t see a clear favourite in this one and predict three sets.
