Having finished third in the Premier League of Bosnia-Herzegovina last season, Sarajevo have returned to European football for the 2025/26 campaign. The Maroon-Whites, as they are nicknamed, reached the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season due to a defeat to Spartak Trnava.

They now face a Universitatea Craiova side that finished third in the Romanian top-flight last season, under the management of Mirel Radoi. Nicknamed The Oltenia People, Universitatea Craiova have begun the 2025/26 Romanian top-flight campaign by collecting four points from their opening two matches.

Sarajevo will believe they have a real chance of qualifying for the next stage this season, but they are facing a very tough test and the Romanians are slight favourites.
