The first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League knockout playoff round tie saw Samsunspor edge past Shkendija by a goal to nil at the Tose Proeski Arena in Skopje, courtesy of a fifth goal of the competition from Marius Mouandilmadji.
Samsunspor performed well to qualify for this tournament and have been very difficult to beat but they are frustrated in seventh place in the Turkish Super Lig. Shkendija sit second in the table in North Macedonia as a result of their European focus.
