THE PREDICTION

Western Force finally ended their long wait for a win in Super Rugby AU as they overcame NSW Waratahs last week. Having lost all eight in the previous campaign as well as their first in this, the Force did what was required at the tenth time of asking. That narrow success should relieve the pressure on them but they face a tricky task to back that up as they host Melbourne Rebels. The away side have not started this competition well having lost back-to-back matches but those defeats to Queensland Reds and Brumbies were only by a combined total of five points so both results could very easily have gone their way. They will be frustrated by their inability to come out on top of either game against quality opposition but if they can carry those performances levels into this game, the Rebels should earn their first win of this year's tournament.
