THE PREDICTION

These two had contrasting fortunes last week as the Brumbies secured a win over Western Force while the NSW Waratahs were hammered by Queensland Reds. The Waratahs managed just one try in the heavy loss in which they conceded 41 points and they will have to make huge improvements on that showing. The Brumbies on the other hand produced a professional display to see off their opponents but they need to be on their guard to avoid complacency here. They are well-fancied to back up last week’s success and unless the Waratahs can produce a huge turnaround on last week’s woeful display, the Brumbies should win this by at least seven points.
