THE LOWDOWN

SCOTLAND

Scotland were impressive winners against Tonga last time out and will fancy their chances of securing another big victory against Romania. It is still unlikely that the Scots will advance to the knockout stages but they will stay in the hunt with a win in this game.

ROMANIA

Romania have suffered huge losses in back-to-back matches, going down 76-0 to South Africa on the back of their 82-8 defeat to Ireland. It is hard to see them getting close to Scotland in this game and they will view it as an achievement if they can avoid being nilled for a second game in succession.

THE PREDICTION

Scotland have the chance to run up a big score as they take on Romania. With 158 points conceded in their two games to date, the Romanians have it all to do here and with the Scots likely to give the ball some air in an effort to amass some points, it is hard to see beyond another one-sided defeat for Romania.

BETTING TIP: Scotland -55
