THE PREDICTION
The number-one ranked team in the world, Ireland, play their final warm-up match ahead of the World Cup and Andy Farrell’s team are playing for the final few places in the squad. Following this game Farrelly will cut his squad from 39 to 33 so there is plenty to play for. They face a strong Samoa team who have had some good performances in recent weeks as they warm up for the tournament. They beat Tonga comprehensively last time out and also beat Japan in July. They will be looking to test themselves against the strongest opposition they have faced in these summer internationals. While they will likely pose the Irish some problems, expect the home side to ease to victory late in the game.
