THE PREDICTION

Benetton sat out the first weekend of Challenge Cup action as one of three spare sides in the tournament of 15 entrants. The Italian side have fared pretty well so far in the United Rugby Championship after a dismal Pro14 campaign last season, with three wins out of seven matches played. However, they have lost each of their three matches on the road so far and a trip to Premiership Gloucester looks a tough task indeed. The hosts were not embarrassed in a 19-13 loss away at fortress Lyon last weekend and they will be confident in covering at least -10 at home to an inferior opponent. As with all European rugby matches this weekend, hold off until the game is absolutely confirmed to play.
