THE PREDICTION
Ospreys lost all six of their fixtures in last season’s Champions Cup were they were largely outclassed by Europe’s elite but they should fare better in the Challenge Cup this time around. The Welsh side claimed their first Pro14 win in three attempts when they beat French opposition, bottom-of-the-league Benetton, in late November but Castres come in off an away win over Pau in the Top 14 and can cause some trouble. Castres have proved difficult to break through on the road and held the likes of Toulouse to a 16-16 draw this time last month. Whilst Ospreys’ home advantage, especially with the return of limited fans, gives them the edge here it should be a close-run result.
