THE PREDICTION
Both these sides enjoyed their first fortnight of the new European Champions Cup season with two wins apiece, especially Toulouse who were awarded a default bonus-point victory over the imperious Exeter Chiefs. Bordeaux had to do it the hard way by actually playing their second match but they totally outclassed the Dragons at home and will be hoping to take their winning streak of two back into the Top 14, where they have struggled for momentum. The visitors were of course poorly treated by the cancellation of last season’s campaign, of which they were leading at just over the halfway stage, and that heartbreak has been tough to take. However, Toulouse have come back in a big way and are chasing top spot here at home. They will be well-rested after a week off and well-oiled having been prepared to take on the Premiership champions and they can cover -10 to put pressure on La Rochelle at the top.
