Toulon lost by 31-18 in a big way on their travels at Bordeaux last weekend and after a promising start they are starting to fall away from the top three now of La Rochelle, Toulouse and Racing 92. They should fare better, however, in their next match against Bayonne with their visitors well-rested but likely a little rusty after back-to-back postponements due to covid-19 reasons. It will be worth holding fire on this match until it is confirmed but if and when that happens this looks set to be a fairly comfortable home win for Toulon in need of a bounce-back performance.
