La Rochelle secured their biggest win of the season at home to Clermont Auvergne last time out and are now in first place of the Top 14 in their own right. However, they will not have it all their own way against hosts Stade Francais who beat Toulouse 48-14 at the beginning of November before their most recent match was postponed. As much as Stade will be rested, they could also suffer from that pause in momentum and although they should score well in this match La Rochelle should be too good for them.
