Toulouse have come into true form in a real way after defeating Ulster and winning a tricky match with Exeter Chiefs by default in the Champions Cup to make it five matches unbeaten. Their 45-23 defeat of Bordeaux on Sunday brought their points difference into line with their nearest competitor, Racing 92, as the pair chase down the league leaders La Rochelle, although Racing have a game in-hand. Knowing that, Toulouse cannot afford any slip-ups and will be targeting another big scoreline here against a Montpellier side who have struggled for consistency all season long. The hosts lost away to La Rochelle by 22-9 on Sunday to make it three defeats on the spin to top-quality sides and Toulouse can count themselves amongst that difficult run of fixtures.
