Montpellier have played the least amount of games in the entire French Top 14 coming into this contest with Castres and know this particular game in-hand is very important. They are above their opponents by one point after six games played, one less than Castres, but a win should see them jump up to ninth with or without a bonus point. It will not be easy, though, after their visitors put up a massive fight in a 29-30 loss at home to Bordeaux last week and this could be closer than expected. Montpellier lost to Bayonne last time out and will be desperate to bounce back here and both teams can contribute to a result that goes over 40 points, in favour of the hosts.
