THE PREDICTION
Reigning champions St. Helens can move to within 80 minutes to retaining their crown. They are going in search of a fourth straight Grand Final success but will need to be at their best as they take on a Salford Red Devils side with nothing to lose. They have played some brilliant rugby this season and deservedly got the better of former head coach Ian Watson as they nilled Huddersfield Giants last week. That 0-28 success did come at a cost with the influential Brodie Croft suffering a head knock which rules him out of this contest. However, they will not fear Saints having won five of their last six and eight of their last 10 and while their journey may well come to an end in this one, they make appeal with the benefit of a +12.5 start.
