- Wakefield Trinity were unable to break down 12-man Hull FC late in their opening contest of the season last week as they were edged out in a game played in atrocious conditions and things could be about to get worse as they travel to Perpignan to face Catalans Dragons.

THE PREDICTION
Catalans Dragons were outclassed by St. Helens last week and will be desperate to respond in their home opener against Wakefield Trinity. The French outfit will be missing three of their front rowers for this game and that could leave them struggling for some go-forward but Trinity’s squad looks extremely under-strength for this contest. They went down to Hull FC in their opening game of the year in what was a gritty game but with some key absentees resulting in a squad lacking in quality heading to Perpignan, Trinity could face a long evening with the hosts able to cover the -20 handicap.
