- Warrington Wolves ended the regular season on a real high as they proved to be too good for Castleford Tigers, although they were nearly subject to an astonishing fightback in the second half with the Wolves losing Mike Cooper to a red card.
- He has subsequently been banned for that high shot but Steve Price has the luxury of naming a full-strength 21-man squad with the exception of his star front-rower with influential hooker Daryl Clark back in the mix after overcoming an injury.

- Hull KR were thankful to Warrington Wolves as their win over Castleford Tigers last week booked Rovers’ spot in the play-offs but they could not celebrate that achievement with a win as they were on the end of a one-sided loss to Leeds Rhinos.
- That defeat meant that Rovers must travel to Warrington instead of facing Wigan Warriors and despite that loss being their first in three matches, they come into this on the back of a disappointing loss as well as with some damaging injury news with Matt Parcell ruled out for the year.

THE PREDICTION
Warrington Wolves ended the regular season with a third straight win
as they overcame Castleford Tigers last week. Coupled with Hull KR’s
loss to Leeds Rhinos, that set-up this clash between the two with Rovers
needing to bounce back from their poor showing last time out. They were
no match for Leeds in what was an underwhelming effort, although they
could be forgiven for having one eye on this contest. Warrington the
other hand had no such thoughts as they blitzed the Tigers in the first
half and with Daryl Clark likely to return to the side, they look like
they could be in the mix to challenge for Grand Final success. Rovers
have battled well to make this season’s play-offs but their season is
likely to come to an end here with Warrington able to beat them for the
third time in succession and do so by at least a 14-point margin, a
handicap they have covered in their last two clashes with the Robins.
