- If Leigh Centurions were not aware that they were in for a tough season, they certainly will be now after they were comfortably defeated by a previously winless Salford Red Devils outfit in very disappointing fashion.
- Despite leading 6-8 at the break, the Centurions conceded 28 unanswered second half points as they lost for the fourth consecutive game on their return to Super League and they have now conceded 150 points across those matches.

- St. Helens were far from their best once again but they did what was required to get the job done against Huddersfield Giants last week and maintain their 100% start to the season.
- Kristian Woolf will be eager for his side to show more on both sides of the ball in this one after conceding two disappointing tries last week but having conceded just 22 points in their four games so far, Saints are going to prove difficult to break down here.

THE PREDICTION
This could be a long night for Leigh Centurions as the winless side come up against defending champions St. Helens. Leigh lost for the fourth game in succession to begin the Super League campaign with their second half performance against Salford Red Devils leaving a lot to be desired. They are conceding 37.5 points per game so far while averaging just 13.5 with the ball and with Saints conceding just 22 points through four matches, this looks like a daunting task for the hosts. Saints have yet to hit their straps so far this season but this is a great chance for them to cut loose with ball in hand and they can do just that to cover the -28 handicap.
