Leigh Centurions’ wait for a win in Super League continued as they
were on the end of a big defeat by Wigan Warriors last weekend. Their
defensive efforts have simply not been good enough this season and they
struggled with the ball against Wigan too, making it 14 consecutive
losses. They now come up against play-off hopefuls Hull KR but it could
be a good time to face the Robins who have lost their last two as well
as losing two key players to injury earlier in the week. However, Rovers
should still have enough to prevail with Leigh’s winless streak set to
be extended.
