- Hull KR made a rapid start to their game against Huddersfield Giants as Ben Crooks crossed after just seven seconds before Rovers opened up an 18-point lead and despite allowing their opponents to then go ahead, the hosts ultimately fought back to win.
- That was Rovers’ first victory of the season and while there are still improvements for them to make having surrendered that 18-0 lead, Tony Smith will have been delighted that his side were able to fight back to claim the win.

- Leeds Rhinos’ under-strength side were once again found wanting as Wigan Warriors proved to be too good for them but the Rhinos did at least show plenty of resolve defensively as they kept the score tight for much of the game.
- After a third straight loss in all competitions, the Rhinos will be desperate to get back to winning ways here and Richard Agar has been handed a huge boost with Konrad Hurrell, Richie Myler, Ash Handley, King Vuniyayawa and Bodene Thompson all back in contention.

THE PREDICTION
Hull KR got off the mark in 2021 as they overcame Huddersfield Giants in a thrilling contest last week. Rovers were 18-0 up but allowed their opponents to fight back and take the lead before Tony Smith’s side responded to seal the win. They now take on a Leeds Rhinos side that have lost their last three but they are bolstered by the return of a handful of first-teamers who have all sat out with injuries of late. Their inclusion could be pivotal for the Rhinos but with Rovers in buoyant mood after last week’s win, this is difficult to call and it may be best to side with backing the total points line. Three of Rovers’ four matches so far this campaign have produced at least 49 points so over 42.5 should be achievable here.
