- Wakefield Trinity failed to replicate their first half efforts in the second period against champions St. Helens last week and Chris Chester’s side ultimately suffered another one-sided loss as a result.

THE PREDICTION
Hull FC blew the chance to maintain their 100% start to life under new head coach Brett Hodgson as they conceded with the last play of the game against Warrington Wolves but they did remain unbeaten having played out a draw with the game going into Golden Point. Hull will have been frustrated by that and now have a short turnaround to contend with but they will be confident as they host winless Wakefield Trinity. Chris Chester’s side failed to back up their first half efforts in last week’s game with St. Helens as they succumbed to a fourth straight loss in all competitions to begin the season and with key playmaker Jacob Miller now sidelined, it is difficult to envisage Wakefield getting within 14 points of the home side.
