- Hull FC suffered a second loss in a row as their grip on a spot in the top six loosened and in their quest to return to winning ways, they now face the daunting task of taking on recent Challenge Cup winners St. Helens.
- Head coach Brett Hodgson has limited resources at his disposal and has named an unchanged squad for this clash but the continued absence of star fullback Jake Connor is problematic with Hull struggling to break down Leeds Rhinos in last week’s loss.

- That will mean this is their first game back in Super League action and they will be keen to make up for lost time as they attempt to close down Catalans Dragons in top spot, although they will have to do so without the injured Theo Fages who is out for the season with a shoulder injury.

THE PREDICTION
Hull FC struggled for the second game in a row following their return
from a COVID-19 outbreak and their ability in the 20 will have been a
concern in their loss to Leeds Rhinos. The Black and Whites had little
trouble rolling down the field but only managed one try in the contest
despite spending a lot of time on the Rhinos’ line. They now face
reigning champions St. Helens who come into this on the back of their
Challenge Cup success last month and while their break of late has been
enforced, the rest may have done them good and they can overcome a side
looking short of confidence in attack by covering the -7.5 handicap.
