- Wakefield Trinity suffered a fourth straight loss as they went down to table toppers Catalans Dragons but they will have been buoyed by some of their attacking play in that game and will hope to put in a more complete performance here.
- Trinity have struggled with injuries all season but they can at least call upon two of their most important players for this one with Tom Johnstone and Joe Westerman back in contention with their squad start to look closer to full strength.

THE PREDICTION
Huddersfield Giants will hope that they have turned the corner and if
they can secure a third consecutive win, they could conceivably turn
their attention to making a charge for the top six. Their squad is
starting to look stronger by the week but the same can also be said for
opponents Wakefield Trinity. They have lost their last four but have
faced three top six teams during that run so will relish this clash
against team of a similar level. There is little to split the two but in
what should be a tight game, it may pay to side with Wakefield who come
into this with a +10.5 start.
