THE PREDICTION
This is a must-win game for Fiji with a loss ending their hopes of advancing to the quarter-finals. They produced a solid performance against Australia in their opening game but were ultimately outclassed and now must respond in this clash with Italy. The Italians were superb as they overcame Scotland in their first clash of the tournament and they will be full of confidence on the back of that effort. They will believe they can cause an upset here but the Fijians are likely to be too good. However, Italy showed enough in their win last week to suggest that they can stick with Fiji and they make appeal with the aid of a +20.5 start on the handicap.
