THE PREDICTION
Penrith Panthers made it back-to-back wins as they solidified their spot at the top of the ladder with victory over Sydney Roosters last week. They now take on another in-form side in the shape of North Queensland Cowboys in what should be a blockbuster contest between two teams that have Premiership success on their mind. The Cowboys laid down a marker for the campaign with a stunning win over Melbourne Storm last week to make it six straight victories and while they will be competitive here, they have suffered a big blow with the loss of talisman Jason Taumalolo. With the Panthers boasting a clean bill of health as well as home advantage on a ground where they rarely lose, the defending premiers have to be favoured to prevail in this one.
