- Parramatta Eels made it three straight wins by overcoming Gold Coast Titans last week, although they know they will need to improve on that effort having allowed their opponents back into that contest when they thought the game was won.

Parramatta Eels continued their good start to the season with a fourth win from five matches thanks to getting the better of Gold Coast Titans last week and they start this contest with Wests Tigers as big favourites. It is not hard to see why with Wests continuing their winless start to the campaign with a heavy defeat to Cronulla Sharks last week. That is now eight straight losses dating back to last season and another loss is surely on the cards for them here against an in-form Eels outfit with the hosts able to win by 13+ points.
