- St. George Illawarra Dragons lost for the third game in a row as they put in a hugely underwhelming performance against Wests Tigers last week and they will be desperate to get back to winning ways as they host bottom of the ladder Canterbury Bulldogs.
- The alarm bells will be sounding with defeat here, if they are not already, but with pressure mounting on the Dragons to pick up a win, their three-quarter line has been decimated so it will have a very different look about it with Max and Mathew Feagai on the wings.

- Canterbury Bulldogs were unable to build on their maiden win of the season as they were comfortably beaten by Parramatta Eels last week but this is a contest they will feel they can win as they bid to pull themselves off the foot of the ladder.
- The Bulldogs are now 1-7 after that defeat but with St. George failing to score more than 14 points in any of their last three, Canterbury’s struggling attack may still be able to get the job done, although they will be desperate to post more than 18 points of their own, a total they are yet to surpass so far this year.
THE PREDICTION
St. George Illawarra Dragons and Canterbury Bulldogs will both be desperate to claim the win in this contest but it could be a hard watch with the pair struggling for form. The Dragons have lost three in a row which is a far cry from how they started the campaign while it is just one win in eight for the Bulldogs so far this year. Neither side have looked too hot with the ball and that should result in a contest that produces under 42.5 points but it could also be worth taking the Bulldogs with a +10.5 start too if the game is as scrappy as anticipated.
