- Parramatta Eels made it seven wins from eight matches to begin the campaign thanks to a comfortable success over Canterbury Bulldogs last week and they will hope to continue their fine run as they host Sydney Roosters.
- The Eels ran out 10-32 winners to make it 113 points scored in their last three matches while they have conceded just 26 points during the same period with their efforts on both sides of the ball continuing to impress.

- Sydney Roosters were superb in their win over Newcastle Knights last week but there was no room to celebrate because of serious injuries to Brett Morris and Lindsay Collins late in the contest.
- In what has already been an injury ravaged season, the Roosters have now had three ACL injuries to deal with on top of the retirement of Jake Friend and their makeshift team now faces a tall order if they are to make it five wins from their last six matches.
THE PREDICTION
Parramatta Eels have produced some solid performances of late and while there is still room for improvement, they cannot grumble at the numbers that they are producing. They have done well on both sides of the ball in their recent successes and they will believe they can make it eight wins from nine as they host an injury-hit Sydney Roosters outfit. The Tricolours have lost four players from last week’s 17 and while the return of James Tedesco is a big inclusion for them, they are unlikely to have enough to overcome the Eels.
