- Manly Sea Eagles put their shock loss to Canberra Raiders behind them but they did not make things easy for themselves as they struggled to put St. George Illawarra Dragons to the sword.

- Wests Tigers produced a solid showing to overcome Brisbane Broncos last week and in what was just their sixth success of the season, they demonstrated some promising signs with ball in hand.
- That was perhaps no coincidence with Adam Doueihi reverting to five-eighth and he will look to pull the strings once again this week as Wests go in search of an unlikely victory which would close the gap on the top eight.
THE PREDICTION
Manly Sea Eagles will look to capitalise on Parramatta Eels’ loss on
Thursday as they attempt to narrow the distance between themselves and
the Eels in the battle for a spot in the top four. The Sea Eagles made
it four wins from five matches thanks to a success over St. George
Illawarra Dragons last week and their side will be greatly improved by
the inclusion of Tom Trbojevic at fullback. Wests Tigers will look to
upset their hopes by causing a shock here and they will be confident
having produced an impressive second half in which they scored 32 points
in last week’s win over Brisbane Broncos but Manly are a much tougher
proposition and the Sea Eagles should prevail by at least 20 points.
