- New Zealand Warriors made it two wins from three matches thanks to a solid success against North Queensland Cowboys last week but head coach Nathan Brown was left frustrated with his side’s effort in the second half.
- Leading 24-4 at the break, the Warriors almost succumbed to a comeback from the Cowboys in the second period as they were held scoreless and despite hanging on to win 24-20, the Kiwi outfit have plenty of room for improvement based on that showing.
THE PREDICTION
Manly Sea Eagles and New Zealand Warriors have both shown that they could compete for the top eight in their recent matches but the pair will need to show greater consistency if they are to do so. Manly fell to a first defeat in four last week while the Warriors won for the second time in three with both coming into this with confidence. The pair appear to be finding their groove with ball in hand and in what should be an open contest, a high-scoring affair is in the offing here with at least 44 points likely.
