- Canterbury Bulldogs once again showed some decent signs with the ball but their defensive efforts let them down as they suffered a fifth straight loss with Cronulla Sharks getting the better of them last week.
- The Bulldogs have struggled off the ball all year and while they have not fared a great deal better with it, they are at least starting to put some points on the board which should make them competitive.

- Gold Coast Titans got the better of St. George Illawarra Dragons last week to put themselves back in the mix for a spot in the top eight but they will be under the spotlight here as they look to back that victory up with another success.
- Justin Holbrook’s side have struggled for consistency all season so this will be a big test against the side at the foot of the ladder, especially as they know that a win would put them level with the teams in seventh and eighth place on the ladder.
THE PREDICTION
Canterbury Bulldogs are still struggling to put in a complete
performance and that could be their downfall once again in this clash
with Gold Coast Titans. The Dogs went down to a fifth consecutive loss
last week and must find a way to be more consistent on both sides of the
ball across the full 80 minutes to try and stay in touch with the teams
above them at the foot of the ladder. The Titans on the other hand are
back in the mix for a place in the finals and having managed to get back
to winning ways last week, they can back that up here with another
success.
