RFS vs Glentoran prediction

Riga pipped RFS to top spot in the Latvian Higher League last season but they will be expected to make their way through UECL qualification, having reached the league phase last season.

In the first-leg of this UECL first qualifying round tie at The BetMcLean Oval in Belfast in Northern Ireland, RFS won by two goals to one against Glentoran with former Cambridge United man Zeno Ibsen Rossi giving Glentoran an early lead before strikes scored by Martins Kigurs in either half gave RFS the first-leg win.

Glentoran showed that they could be competitive against RFS in this tie but they are facing elimination as the Latvians tap into their European pedigree and nous.
