The first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round tie last week at the neutral venue of Szombathelyi Haladas Stadion in Hungary, it was a bit of a surprise hammering of Rabotnicki by Torpoedo BelAZ. The Belarusians took a 12th minute lead via Pavel Sedko. They then doubled their lead mid-way through the second-half via Vadim Pobudey before Steven Alfred made it 3-0 deep into second-half stoppage-time.
Rabotnicki have been something of a regular in UEFA competition in the last couple of decades, but they have very rarely, if ever, put in remotely respectable performances.
Torpedo BelAZ Zhodino have shown that a neutral venue doesn’t bother them, so playing away from home shouldn’t be too much of an issue, so siding with the visitors would appear a good value bet for this one.
