Pyunik vs Gyori prediction

Armenian Premier League side Pyunik come into this one on the back of a hard-fought come from behind defeat of Sammarinese minnows in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League. They were beaten 1-0 by Tre Fiori in the first-leg before then annihilating Tre Fiori by five goals to nil back home in Yerevan.

They now face a Gyori side that only gained promotion back to the top-flight in the 2023/24 season and this is their first ever European campaign. They would have to be ranked as one of the weaker, or at least among the least experienced, teams at this stage of the competition.

Pyunik may well struggle when they go away from home to Hungary next week, but they will be expected to get over the line and potentially put the tie to bed at home this week.

Pyunik vs Gyori tip: Pyunik to win
