Polissya vs FC Santa Coloma prediction

This match is being played at the neutral venue of Futbal Tatran Arena in Presov in Slovakia as a result of Ukrainian sides being unable to play at home due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Polissya Zhytomyr finished fourth in last season’s Ukrainian Premier League, behind Dynamo Kyiv, Oleksandriya and Shakhtar Donetsk. They are currently coached by former experienced Ukraine international Ruslan Rotan.

They now face an FC Santa Coloma side that pulled off one of the biggest surprises in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League as they defeated Borac Banja Luka by four goals to three on aggregate, down in large part to a shock 4-1 victory in Bosnia-Herzegovina in the first-leg.

Polissya Zhytomyr will be wary of the threat on the counter that the Andorrans showed in Bosnia a couple of weeks ago, but they will remain firm favourites for both legs.
