Panama vs El Salvador prediction

In the penultimate match day of Group A of the third round of CONCACAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Panama won but saw themselves leapfrogged by potential FIFA World Cup debutants Suriname.

Panama were 2-0 up against Guatemala before being pegged back to 2-2, but they then managed to snatch themselves a much-needed victory. However, that wasn’t enough to remain at the top as Suriname hammered El Salvador by four goals to nil.

Panama perhaps have an even better squad, in terms of experience and general quality, than the side that made their FIFA World Cup debut in the 2018 tournament in Russia.

El Salvador have struggled throughout this stage of qualification and are unlikely to put up much of a fight against a Panama side that need to run riot with home advantage.

Panama vs El Salvador tip: Panama to win -2 handicap
