Nigeria vs Gabon Prediction

Star studded Nigeria majorly underperformed in their qualifying group but the Super Eagles have majorly improved of late, having most recently hammered Benin by four goals to nil. They finished a point behind South Africa but perhaps still do have the best squad of players in Africa.

They face a Gabonese side that performed extremely well with eight victories and a draw in their ten matches, sitting below the Ivory Coast by a point. Gabon, with captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang the star, most recently eased to a 2-0 win over Burundi without the suspended Aubameyang last month.

Gabon have a lot of attacking quality and will fancy themselves to get after the Nigerians but it has to remain the case that Nigeria are slight favourites ahead of their clash in Morocco.

Nigeria vs Gabon Tip: Nigeria to win & both teams to score
