Nigeria vs DR Congo Prediction

In the semi-finals of the CAF playoff qualification round for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Nigeria overcame a strong Gabon side. They conceded late for the game to go to extra-time but then romped themselves to a 4-1 win. They face a Democratic Republic of Congo side that continued their impressive couple of years by defeating Cameroon.

Nigeria, with Malian manager Eric Chelle at the helm, have a very strong side and have been much-improved since his appointment after a disastrous start to the campaign. They face a DR Congo side that, with Sebastian Desabre in charge, were unfortunate to finish below Senegal in the group stages of this competition.

DR Congo have some good players and will believe they can counter attack well but Nigeria, with their abundance of talent, have to be viewed as favourites to progress.

Nigeria vs DR Congo Tip: Nigeria to win
